HISTORY
HICC has started through the passion of Dr. Imelda Meddie Edodollon as she reversed with the help of the our creator and her learnings the illness of her father in continuing it to all people who suffer chronic degenerative diseases. And as of today, HICC is known to every people as the center who provides healing that cares in catering and treating and reversing diseases out of love and compassion.
OUR MEDICAL DIRECTOR:
IMELDA S. EDODOLLON, MT, MD, NMD, also known as Doc Meddie is a medical doctor completed B.S. Medical Technology (University of Santo Tomas), Clinical Internship (Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, University of Santo Tomas), Degree in Medicine (University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center), Clinical Internship (Philippine Centers for Specialized Health Care), International Medical School of Integrative Medicine, Gerson Therapy in Gerson Institute, USA. While Integrative medicine is very new to the country, she is proud to be one of the growing few. As shed noticed, most integrative practitioners require a ‘turning point’ in their lives which involves life threatening medical issues in their respective families. The one that makes every person surrender everything to the Supreme Being. In her instance, it was about her dad. He suffered from He art, Lung and Kidne y failure on top of OSAS, Status As thmaticus, and Hype rtension. Her heart sank when she saw him unresponsive in the emergency room. He was intubated, thrice. She knew there is a need to do something for her dad that is outside of the box of medical training. The searching leads her to integrative medicine. Integrative medicine helped her dad reverse his conditions. He has recovered and enjoyed life to the fullest.
As a medical doctor who finished 10 years of medical training, she has rarely read on chelation only in highly technical medical books and lectures. It was as if it never existed, along with good nutrition. As she can remember, they only needed around 4 hours lecture about nutrition during medical school to pass the board exam.
There are times in the life of a doctor when you’ve poured your heart out for patients but it’s still not enough. There are these so called chronic degenerative diseases that get life out of them. Unfortunately, these diseases are the ones crippling every persons own family. The parents suffer from them. They need to accept they now live on maintenance medicines that extend temporary relief on their health.
When the doctors write prescriptions, 99% of the times, contents are ‘quick fix’ synthetic medicines. They were trained to use conventional drug pushing medical practice and shame those that do not go with the latest protocols. We shame the alternative practitioners claiming relief and cure of the diseases that we can only maintain. She knew these because she was a conventional physician before she went integrative.
As of today, she is a member of a medical alliance of integrative practitioners- PRIMA and different trainings are far from done.
As her journey goes, shed changed day by day. From a Doctor with a White Coat to a Doctor with a Heart. From an Imposing Doctor to a Doctor that is empowering lives. And she is not alone, as integrative medicine grows and a more practitioners are being enlightened day by day. We, with the help of all the staff of HICC committed in providing healing that cares for everyone, nationwide.
